• Lead the design, development, and localization of new Hunter Douglas Indochina products based on market and customer requirements.
• Develop 3D models, engineering drawings, and product concepts using CAD software, while performing design validation through simulation and engineering analysis where applicable.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing (DFM) initiatives by optimizing product designs to improve manufacturability, reduce production costs, and enhance product quality.
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Tooling, Procurement, and Quality teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and design to manufacturing implementation and mass production.
• Participate in process optimization, production trials, and continuous improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Evaluate materials, structures, fabrication methods, and assembly processes to ensure products meet technical, quality, aesthetic, and cost objectives.
• Manage technical documentation, including 3D models, drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, simulation results, and engineering proposals for management review.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Structural Engineering, Industrial Product Design, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Development, Mechanical Design, or R&D Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Rhino or SAP200, CATIA software.
• Experience supporting the full engineering process from design through manufacturing optimization and production implementation.
• Experience in steel structures (PEB), aluminum systems, sheet metal fabrication, or structural product design is a strong advantage.
• Experience in sheet metal manufacturing is an advantage
• Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA), welding, sheet metal processing, machining, extrusion, and fabrication processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills.
• Proactive, innovative mindset with strong teamwork.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience and residing near Song Than 3 Industrial Park or the Binh Duong area, who can arrange their own transportation.
