We are seeking a talented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our dynamic Amphenol IT team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies, with a passion for identifying and mitigating potential security threats. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for monitoring our organization's security infrastructure, analyzing security data, and responding to security incidents in a timely manner. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the protection of our organization's assets and ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information systems.
1. Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor security systems, including intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and SIEM tools, to detect security incidents and vulnerabilities. Analyze security data and alerts to identify potential threats and risks to the organization.
2. Incident Response: Respond to security incidents in accordance with established procedures. Investigate security breaches and incidents to determine the root cause and extent of the damage. Take appropriate actions to contain, eradicate, and recover from security incidents.
3. Vulnerability Management: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in the organization's infrastructure and applications. Collaborate with system administrators and developers to remediate vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
4. Security Awareness: Develop and deliver security awareness training and educational materials to staff members. Promote a culture of security awareness and best practices throughout the organization.
5. Threat Intelligence: Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies. Monitor threat intelligence sources for information relevant to the organization's security posture. Use threat intelligence to enhance security monitoring and incident response capabilities.
6. Security Policies and Procedures: Assist in the development, implementation, and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities. Prepare reports and presentations for management, summarizing security metrics, trends, and risks.
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Relevant certifications (e.g., OWASP, Security+, Microsoft Security Operations Analyst, CEH) are a plus.
3. Proven experience working in a cybersecurity role, with knowledge of security principles, technologies, and best practices.
4. Hands-on experience with security tools such as Azure Sentinel SIEM, IDS/IPS, FortiGate firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions such as CrowdStrike and Defender XDR.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security incidents and develop effective solutions.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to customer service and teamwork.
8. Familiarity with IT Security frameworks such as ISO27001, COBIT, CIS Controls.
9. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the field of cyber security.
