RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead the design and implementation of automated test frameworks and test cases.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and product managers to understand requirements and identify test scenarios.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to validate software functionality.
• Identify, report, and track software defects to resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of software releases.
• Investigate and analyze test failures, and work with the development team to address issues promptly.
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior test engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools and technologies to continuously improve testing processes.
• Participate in Agile development practices and provide testing input during sprint planning and retrospectives.
Basic Qualification
• 3-5 years oBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on test automation.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or similar.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman or similar.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
