Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines on Azure platform.
- Implement and manage cloud solutions using Azure services such as:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF v2)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Functions, Logic Apps
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Container Registry (ACR)
- Managed Identity (MI), Service Principal (SPN)
- Build and optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Develop automation scripts using
Python, PowerShell, and Bash
.
Design and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using:Azure Monitor (Application Insights, Log Analytics Workspace, Alerts)Grafana with LGTM stack (Loki, Grafana, Tempo, Mimir/Prometheus)Open TelemetryImplement logging, alerting, and tracing strategies to ensure system reliability.Work with GitHub workflows processes.Collaborate with Data Engineers, DevOps, and Software Engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, security, and cost optimization.Your skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years (Middle) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in cloud/data engineering.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure Data Factory and Databricks
- Monitoring tools: App Insights, Log Analytics, Alerts
- Grafana ecosystem (LGTM stack is a plus)
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language:
- Python (required)
- PowerShell and/or Bash
- Solid understanding of data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and distributed systems.
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of data lake architecture and big data concepts.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, DP-203) are a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Ownership mindset and attention to detail.
